Your data & account deletion

You're in control of your data on Seren. You can take a copy of everything we hold about you, or delete your account entirely — from inside the app, without asking us.

Export your data

In Seren, open Agent & privacy and choose Export my data. You'll receive a copy of your personal data — profile, matching preferences, introductions, connections, messages and account details — as a JSON file. On the web app the file downloads immediately; in the mobile app your export is prepared and also available from the web app. You can also email privacy@seren.social from your account address.

Delete your account

In Seren, open Agent & privacy and choose Delete account. You'll be asked to confirm — deletion is permanent. If you can't access the app, email privacy@seren.social from your account address and we'll process it for you.

What gets deleted

Your profile, matching signals and embeddings, agent memory, introductions, messages, and account identifiers are erased or anonymised. People you were connected to will no longer see your details.

What we may keep, and why

Limited records required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or safety reasons — retained only as long as necessary and then deleted. Anonymised event statistics (for example, how many introductions an event produced) are not personal data and are kept. Payment records are held by Stripe under their terms and applicable law.

Timing

Deletion is processed within 30 days; backups cycle out within a further 30 days.
